i went to the ride don put on.the hard stuff started just inches away from where i parked to unload.he does't give much warm up time!i think 10 riders showed up for start at 12 pm.we left out in the rocky riverbed that runs through it, lost 1 rider in 1/2 mile.took a road couple of miles to smaller rd. that took us to several miles of sandy ,rocky ,twisty stream beds.took some more 2 track rd to more of the same.reached fuel stop at about 30 miles out,and lost 1 more rider there.short break and hit the trails again.more of the 2 tracks to more of twisty stream beds.we went east to pickup some trails and climb an excellent off camber switchback road that tested rider ability .couple of riders askin now about findin a way back to white oaks on easier rds.we all decided to stay with don for a mentally and physically demanding downhill. everybody got down ok and settled onto a rd. which took us back to white oaks at 55 miles and 4;30 pm . i think we arrived with 7 riders left.don fixed bratwurst on his grill and everone enjoyed a couple of beers and told this days war stories.everyone said they had a good time .i really would like to extend my thanks to don and everyone who helped out sunday.i really enjoyed the ride and good exercise workout.damn, i'm gettin old !
happy trails to you

Was a good write up, glad you all had a good time, wish I had been there too, I don't believe a word of it without pictures to back it up!

The ride was awsome. Jimmy explained everything perfectly. Me and my friend Robert showed up with no clue of what to expect from Don. He put a nice ride together and all ended well. The pace was pretty quick and Tadd is a madman in the sand wash's. Can't wait for the next one. Thanks for the awsome ride Don.
